Propose the column locations for the structure and freeze the column sizes with the structural team, coordinate with structural team for finalizing the column beam sizes and locations to ensure the architectural aesthetics are not affected.
Prepare the detailed drawings of plans at Ground level and above levels, elevations for all sides, various Sections as required to show all features & details of Buildings/ Structure , terrace layouts overhead tanks , lift rooms ,including 3 D perspectives and walk through where ever required. Detailed Drawings for Staircases/ head room, lift, toilets, Joineries, Kitchen and all MEP items. Schedule of finishes for floors, roof, walls, ceilings, joineries, etc. as per the requirements of drawings and specifications.
Structural designing involves creating a stable and durable structure that can withstand various loads and stresses. The primary objectives of structural designing are stability, strength, durability and cost-effectiveness for optimizing materials and manpower. The local wind and seismic factors are essential for the designs which are to be done taken into consideration as per the codes.
Overview the architectural designs, soil investigation report, preparation of preliminary layouts as per architectural drawings, Creating the structure geometry, defining the properties and materials, load calculations, structural analysis by using Staad software or equivalent to analyse the structure’s behaviour and optimizing the designs to minimize materials and costs. Co-ordination with architectural team for finalizing the columns sizes and beam locations.
Detailed drawings for foundations with typical details, column layouts at different levels and their schedules, beam layouts at different levels and their schedules, slab layouts at different levels and their schedules, typical Sections as required to show all features & details of Buildings/ Structure. Detailed Drawings for Staircases head room, Lift lobbies, overhead tanks, underground sumps etc.
